Their mother was Mary Jane Turner b1844 Hathersage, who married Rev Charles Primrose Ford, b1849 Postwick, Norfolk. Her father, Rev Isaac B Turner was appointed to the Curacy of Hathersage (13/5/1843 p2 Cambridge Chronical & Journal & 20/5/1843 Oxford Chronicle).
