We are struggling with Tom Lee. 4th from right on WHW2W p 54 photo, known as Tom (but may have been Thomas Ernest?) He served again in the 1939/1945 war, in a non-combat role.) We came across a number of newspaper articles in the 1920/30’s that refer to T J Lee who seemed to be very involved with the Hope Valley Football League. He was in the village in 1931 when co-opted onto British Legion Benevolent Committee. He probably came to the village after WW1.
