ă 2/Lt 7 Sherwood Foresters. b 1898 Sheffield. 1911 finds him at St Cuthbert’s College, Worksop (now Worksop College) – (no relation to James Wragg). 1918 Absent Voters list shows his address as Heatherfield, Sheffield Road, Hathersage, the home of his parents. (R J Moores, his brother in law, who served in the same regiment, was also then at Heatherfield.) Colin was a motor engineer as was his father Walter (b 1873 d 1932, at Broomhill Place, Sheffield, although then living at Bamford). When he died, Walter left £24,024 – quite a sum for those days. On the 1891C Walter Wragg is listed as cycle Manufacturer; Walter Wragg Ltd., were one of the premier motorcycle dealerships in Sheffield with their main showroom in Cambridge Street. There are a number of photos on ‘Google’. His mother was Evelyn Maud (b 1872 –d 1927). Colin died at Claremont Nursing Home in 1933.
