(DT 11/11/1933; serving on Hathersage British Legion committee). b 1865 Tansley. 1911C Station Road, Hathersage a ‘gas-fitter and Army pensioner’. He worked at Hathersage Gas Company. He later lived at Barnfield Cottages. d 1941 Hathersage. It is not thought that he served in WW1 as in April 1917 he lived in Hathersage.
